TV Series for RDF Media / BBC Two
“Oz & James's Big Wine Adventure”

I was brought in by Simon Kerfoot and Nick Shearman (now Commissioning Editor - BBC Factual Features) to edit as part of the Post Production Team on the Second Series of Oz & James's Big Wine Aventure.

Wine expert Oz Clarke travels around California with "Top Gear" presenter James May in an attempt to turn him into a wine connoisseur.

I cut 2 episodes "Sonoma Valley" and "Monterey County" both of which were both informative and funny, but also had the side-effect of making me into a wine ponce!

After this project I had a very distinct understanding of wine appreciation and had developed a taste for the divine liquid! I still want desperately to sample Sean Thackrey's ORION wine from Marin County California, but at £684.84 per case I'm not in a hurry...

The offlines were edited at Films at 59 on Avid Express linked to Avid Unity then onlined in Avid Symphony Nitris DX and mastered to PAL Standard Definition on DigiBeta.
